      Analysis of Protein Array containing more than 19,000 full-length human proteins using SOX4 Mouse Monoclonal Antibody (SOX4/2540).Z- and S- Score: The Z-score represents the strength of a signal that a monoclonal antibody (MAb) (in combination with a fluorescently-tagged anti-IgG secondary antibody) produces when binding to a particular protein on the HuProtTM array. Z-scores are described in units of standard deviations (SD?s) above the mean value of all signals generated on that array. If targets on HuProtTM are arranged in descending order of the Z-score, the S-score is the difference (also in units of SD?s) between the Z-score. S-score therefore represents the relative target specificity of a MAb to its intended target.  A MAb is considered to specific to its intended target, if the MAb has an S-score of at least 2.5. For example, if a MAb binds to protein X with a Z-score of 43 and to protein Y with a Z-score of 14, then the S-score for the binding of that MAb to protein X is equal to 29.

      SOX4是轉錄因子SOX(與SRY相關的HMG-box)家族的成員,在心臟,胰腺,大腦的器官發生以及B和T淋巴細胞分化過程中,在胚胎發育和細胞命運確定中起關鍵作用。SOX4基因表達在許多癌癥類型中均被上調,并且SOX4活性的增加有助于細胞轉化,細胞存活和轉移。基因表達譜已經發現在正常和癌性乳腺癌上皮細胞中TGF-β誘導的上皮-間質轉化(EMT)期間具有上調活性的SOX4。SOX4對于體外EMT和細胞存活以及體內原發性腫瘤生長和轉移是*的。通過控制表觀遺傳修飾因子Ezh2的表達,SOX4被確定為EMT的主要調控因子。
