Dulbecco's改良Eagle's Medium（DMEM）是 B asal Medium Eagle（BME）的改良劑，含有BME 中發現的四倍濃度的氨基酸和維生素，以及其他補充成分。

DMEM 的原始制劑含有 1000mg / L 的葡萄糖，但是在一些改良中已經提高到4500mg / L，給出術語 “低葡萄糖”和“高葡萄糖”。除了替代葡萄糖水平之外，多年來的若干其他修改擴大了DMEM支持的細胞類型的范圍。
